The Canadian Pharmacy Association (CPA) says it would not support generic Viagra if it were to be available over the counter in Canada. In response, the Canadian Pharmacy Association (CPA) said it would support the generic versions of the Viagra prescription drug, which is also sold in Canada.
“Our view is that generic is a better choice than the brand name product,” said John L. Chabot, CPA member for the CPA. “We would consider it the better option to ensure that patients get the generic product from the Canadian pharmaceutical company.”
The CPA has said it would support generic Viagra for patients who have purchased the drug over the counter, including those with serious medical conditions like kidney disease or heart failure. It’s not currently available over the counter in Canada, but Chabot has issued a call to all patients with such illnesses to contact their physician immediately.

Blum, said that, for the majority of patients with serious medical conditions, generic Viagra will be the only option. “But as with all prescription drugs, you should be aware of the possible side effects and risks associated with generic Viagra,” he said. “If you have serious medical conditions, you may have to take an alternative drug or switch to another one that’s more affordable.”
The CPA believes that there are certain patients who have been advised against taking generic Viagra, including those with serious medical conditions. They said that even though they are familiar with the generic option, they would not recommend any drug that has not been approved by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
“We would be very concerned about patients who are suffering from serious medical conditions and who would be willing to take generic Viagra,” said Dr. Blum. “It’s a very safe drug.”
Generic Viagra is available in Canada at a generic price of $20 per pill, and the drug is available at $5 per tablet, with a maximum dosage of $30 per pill. The CPA said that if patients have been prescribed generic Viagra for a serious condition, they should contact their doctor to discuss the risks and benefits.
“We will take the decision as to whether to allow generic Viagra to be prescribed to our patients, or to sell them the generic version that is available,” said Dr. “It will be important for the patients to understand that there is an option, and that’s why we work with the Canadian Pharmacy Association (CPA) to support patients and physicians in the responsible decision making.”

In addition, if they are taking medications that are contraindicated, they should be referred to a medical provider in Canada to review the potential risks and benefits of the medication and the potential risks of taking the medication without a prescription.”
Patients should also be aware of the possible side effects, including headaches, dizziness, nausea, constipation, and vomiting.
“Generic Viagra is not available in Canada and will remain a prescription drug for Canadian patients,” said Blum. “The availability of generic Viagra does not mean that patients will need to take it in order to purchase it. We are committed to patient safety and that of their health and well-being.”
